About us
CONSULTAX, k.s. was founded in 2002. Its establishment was a logical continuation of the professional consultancy activities of its founders, who had been working in the field of economic, accounting, and tax consultancy for a long time before its establishment. The founders’ goal in establishing the CONSULTAX, k. s. was to create a professional team of experts specializing in the processing of accounting and payroll administration on a contractual basis and the provision of the tax consultancy services. The first step towards achieving these goals was to register the company in the list of tax advisors in accordance with the Slovak National Council Act No. 78/92 Coll. on Tax Advisors and the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors, as amended. The company CONSULTAX, k.s. is a member of the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors since January 1, 2003, with registration No. 53/2003.
When providing professional consultancy services, the company CONSULTAX, k.s. puts great emphasis on expertise, experience, and professionalism. All these attributes contribute to the provision of high quality consultancy services. Universal skills of our employees, who are able to provide services according to needs in various areas of the field of consultancy, are an advantage.
The target group of our consultancy activities includes not only Slovak business entities but also foreign clients, whom we help to start their business in Slovakia by assisting them in navigating through our legislative conditions. Proof of this is the fact that the company CONSULTAX, k.s. is a member of the Slovak-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 2005.
In 2022, our company celebrated its 20th anniversary, and over that time it became a stable local consultancy company on the Slovak market with a rich experience of a stable team of professionals, guaranteeing the provision of reliable and comprehensive consultancy services for our clients.

When establishing cooperation with each client, we apply an individual approach, taking into account their specific requirements arising from the subject of their business or the industry and services in which they operate. In addition to comprehensive accounting services, we also provide consultancy services in the field of accounting for companies with their own internal accounting departments. This includes methodological support and accounting reviews to verify compliance with accounting principles in accordance with applicable Slovak legislation.
Our accounting services also include consultancy services and comprehensive financial analysis for financial institutions in the case of credit transactions, reporting packages for the needs of parent companies abroad and their group auditors, and the preparation of consolidated financial statements.

Part of the comprehensive processing of accounting agenda is the preparation of regular reporting packages according to client requirements, which provide financial management with an up-to-date overview of the company’s financial situation. Human resources and payroll administration
An integral part of the comprehensive package of financial services provided is also the HR management and payroll administration. Taking into account individual requirements, adjusting deadlines and forms of cooperation is important also for us in terms of meeting the expectations and requirements of our clients with this type of services. Personnel and payroll administration is always in accordance with current labor law, social security and health insurance laws and the tax legislation. In the environment of complex legal conditions and frequent changes in the field of tax and insurance liabilities related to the employment contracts, we strive to transfer the administrative and professional burden fully
from the client’s environment to our company. Our 20 years of experience in this field is a guarantee of provision of high-quality services for our clients.
Basic activities in payroll and personnel administration:
- Registration and deregistration of employees in social security and health insurance institutions,
- Regular monthly payroll calculation based on employee attendance submitted by clients,
- Export of mandatory monthly reports to the relevant electronic systems for data collection for the Social Insurance Agency and health insurance companies,
- Sending overviews, reports on withheld advance payments and communication with the tax office,
- Sending reports to authorized persons according to client requirements (agreed payroll reports + individual reports)
- Preparing of transfer orders for payment or imports to HB or IB,
- Option for sending of password-protected pay slips in electronic form to the client employees’; email addresses or in electronic or printed form to the client
- Issuing of confirmations and documents regarding the termination of employment
- Calculation of annual employee tax returns and preparation of the relevant paperwork
- Direct communication with employees in accordance with the agreement, as required by the client
- In case of the beginning and termination of the employment relationship, provision of consultation and, upon request, preparation of relevant documents.
